The Fraternity House

The Kappa Sigma fraternity house is located on the southwest corner of University Avenue and Cleveland Street at 1401 West University. The chapter house itself has won numerous awards for the “best kept chapter house with living quarters and an operating kitchen” and for the “best kept lodge-type chapter house” since it was built in 1955.

Kappa Sigma is the only house on campus that has both a house Mom and Dad, Jamie and Rob Woods. Jamie, a previous Oklahoma State academic advisor, routinely helps out members with staying on top of academics.

The house consists of 29 rooms that can hold 70 men at capacity. Eighteen of the rooms are designed for two men to live in, while the other eleven can hold three men in twice the space. Cable television and high-speed internet access (via a dedicated T3 connection) are both included in the house bills. The house has on-site laundry facilities in the basement as well.

The house kitchen is operated by a local food-service company that provides a cook for 15 weekday meals (buffet style) for the members.
